 Problem With Most Omega-3 Supplements

nder Dosed:Most people don’t realize that EPA and DHA are the key benefits of Omega-3s for brain, eye, and heart health. You need at least 250 mg a day to see real results¹²—but many brands fall short.

At Vivo Life, we don’t cut corners.

Our Omega-3 packs a punch with 1,000 mg per serving, including a solid 300 mg EPA and 600 mg DHA—so you’re getting all the good stuff.

Third-Party Lab Testing:While others skip the extra step, we’re all about transparency. Our products are rigorously tested for heavy metals, PCBs, mercury & oxidation³—so you know it’s 100% clean.

Sustainability Matters:Fish are just the middlemen! They get their Omega-3 from algae—so why not cut out the fish and go straight to the source? Our algae-based Omega-3 serves up the same EPA and DHA without wrecking the planet⁴. Eco-friendly AND effective? Win-win!

Why Supplement with Omega 3

Why not just get from food?Meeting the recommended Omega-3 intake (e.g., 250–500 mg of EPA/DHA daily) requires consuming multiple servings of fatty fish weekly. For many, this isn't practical due to dietary preferences, availability, or cost.

Being nourished with Omega-3, particularly EPA and DHA, can provide the following benefits:

🧠 Supports a Sharp MindDHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function¹.

❤️ Reduce High Blood PressureOmega-3 fatty acids are well-known for supporting cardiovascular health. Research confirms that regular Omega-3 intake helps maintain normal heart function and circulation, reducing the risk of high blood pressure and supporting overall heart health².

👁️ Supports Healthy Vision and Eye ComfortOmega-3 supports eye health by maintaining retinal function³, and alleviating dry eye symptoms³.

🦴 Joint ComfortEPA and DHA support anti-inflammatory processes, which may help joint comfort. Research shows that 1,000–3,000 mg daily of combined EPA and DHA can help reduce joint pain, stiffness, and swelling⁴.

How much Omega-3 do I need?

To benefit from Omega-3, research suggests minimum daily intakes of combined EPA and DHA for different health areas.

Here’s what science says about effective doses:General Health:The World Health Organization recommends 250–500 mg daily of combined EPA and DHA for general cardiovascular and anti-inflammatory benefits¹.

Heart Health:The American Heart Association advises 1,000 mg daily of combined EPA and DHA to support normal heart function².

Brain Health:Studies indicate that 300–500 mg of DHA alone or combined with EPA each day supports cognitive health, especially in older adults³.

Joint Health:EPA and DHA support anti-inflammatory processes, which may help joint comfort. Research shows that 1,000–3,000 mg daily of combined EPA and DHA can help reduce joint pain, stiffness, and swelling⁴.

Mood and Mental Health:For mood regulation, research suggests 1,000–2,000 mg of EPA daily, with a higher EPA ratio being particularly beneficial⁵.

Algae Oil Vs Flaxseed

eeds such as flax, hemp and chia seed contain a form of omega 3 called alpha-linolenic acid, or ALA for short. But in order for it to be used by our bodies ALA must first be converted into longer chain omega 3 fatty acids known as EPA and DHA.

Unfortunately due to the conversion rates of ALA to EPA and DHA are not good, with an average 8% conversion to EPA and 0.5% to DHA. This means you would need to eat almost half a kilo of flaxseed daily just to get half a gram of DHA!

Of course, you should still eat all different kinds of nuts and seeds for the other health benefits, but they should not be relied on as a good source of omega 3.

Just 2ml of Vivo Omega 3 from algae provides 300mg of omega 3 EPA and 600mg of omega 3 DHA.

Depression Relief with Omega-3: Study-Backed

Studies involving 1,438 participants show that low Omega-3 levels, especially EPA, are linked to higher depression rates1. A minimum of 1 gram of EPA daily was found to help reduce depressive symptoms in these studies.

And guess what? 80% of the world’s low on Omega-3s! No wonder we’re all craving a boost!2

Our Omega-3 supplement, rich in EPA, naturally supports a brighter mood—and it’s trusted by over 538 clinicians for its purity and effectiveness!

Try the Omega-3 that experts recommend for a healthier, happier you.

 Why Supplement With Vitamin B12?

Why Not Just Get B12 from Food? While B12 is naturally found in animal products like meat, dairy, and eggs, there are several reasons why supplementation might still be necessary.

Even if you consume animal products, some individuals have trouble absorbing B12 due to factors such as age, digestive issues, or certain health conditions. Additionally, modern farming practices have altered the way B12 is present in animal products, meaning you might not be getting as much as you think.

For those on a plant-based diet, B12 is not available in plant foods, making supplementation essential. To ensure you're meeting your needs, B12 supplements provide an effective and reliable solution5.

Contributes to Reducing Tiredness & Fatigue and Normal Immune functionB12 contributes to reducing tiredness and fatigue, as well as a normal immune function. Without enough B12, you might feel drained and run down. Studies show that B12 helps the body produce red blood cells and supports immune function, helping you stay healthy and energised3.

Contributes to Mental Clarity & Balanced MoodB12 plays a crucial role in maintaining normal brain function, contributing towards mental clarity. It also supports the production of serotonin, the 'feel-good' chemical, contributing to a balanced mood4.

B12 isn’t just about avoiding deficiency; it’s about contributing to reducing tiredness and fatigue, a normal immune system and normal mental clarity.
